SUFFERED FROM NADAL WIN IS ALREADY IN SEMIFINALS


The English Rafael Nadal has defeated Croatia's Ivo Karlovic in three grueling sets (5-7), (6-1) and (7-6) (7), and classified to the semifinals of the 1000 Indian Wells Masters where he will face Argentine Martin del Potro, who beat English, Tommy Robledo, who had to retire injured his duel with the South American player.


In a grueling match that lasted two hours and twenty minutes into the game, the Spaniard suffered more than necessary, to defeat the Balkan tennis, ATP No. 239, which with 23 points scored by ace planted battle to number one the world for the first time gave the tournament a set, in particular, the first one (5-7).

The first set went with tremendous equity, with both contenders to maintain their effort during the first ten games of the match coming up to (5-5), defining moment of this first assault where Karlovic netted his service in white and broke the kick back Nadal to close said first sleeve (5-7).


Rafa's reaction was swift, and in the second set appealed to the claw and pride, breaking Karlovic's serve twice, closing the first round by (6-1).
In the third and final set, Nadal Karlovic twelve great games gave us a formidable tennis, reaching the "tiebreaker" final, where Nadal began breaking the serve of Croat.

However, the pressure was highest for both rivals to the semi-final ticket in play, both contestants committing several unforced errors. But Nadal had more cold-blooded Karlovic and (8-7) in his favor, he broke Karlovic and noted that sudden death (9-7), closing the set and the match (7-6).
